ADD YOUR LIGHT PRODUCTS INC. supplies the LED lamps and voltage regulators used by Add Your Light Charitable Foundation & other NGOs for humanitarian projects.

The company exists for the express purpose of manufacturing and selling LED lamps and voltage regulators. After seven years of work to develop lighting systems that now work without fail, we wanted to offer our product to other organizations working in less developed countries.

We now have many systems in the D.R. & Haiti, as well as pilot systems in Ethiopia, Nicaragua, and Guatemala.

Here are some photos of the components of our systems & some of the installations we have done: COMPONENTS

WHY PURCHASE LAMPS FROM ADD YOUR LIGHT when you can buy something "off the shelf" much more cheaply? Click here for our PRODUCT SPECIFICATIONS.

To review our installation diagram, click INSTALLATION DIAGRAM.  You can see that we have also included a cell phone connector in the system, so people can charge their cell phones -- a very important advantage of our systems. Here is another diagram, showing a system in which only one switch is used for 3 lamps (eg. for a classroom). We can customize the systems & the training materials to suit the situation. Our installation guide is step-by-step, making it easy for novices to do installations.

A Spanish language brochure is used to help Dominican families calculate the cost of candles & kerosene gas lamps. This helps them see how possible it is to purchase an LED lighting system on credit. Our small loans program is helping many families purchase a system & have clean, safe light for the first time.

Click on this link for a 4 minute video of the LED/solar project in Cap Rouge, Haiti. This video is lovely. However, it was not done by Add Your Light and it contains some errors. Eg. the lamps were not developed at the University of Calgary, and the systems do not cost $200, even at low volumes. Ask us for a price quote if you are interested in installing systems anywhere in the world.
